Searching for a video player

That will let me set the gamma or contrast or brightness pretty high. Not to mention can play most of the popular formats like WMV, MP4, AVI, etc. The problem is, the screen is quite reflective so watching movies can be a bit no fun as it's hard to see. I am not God so I can't turn off the sun so ... >.< I need a high contrast or something video player, anyone know of such a miracle? Thank you for your time.

Not sure if any app will make your phone brighter than the stock settings but good video players are MX Player and BS Player
Both use screen gestures to increase brightness and volume (sliding the screen up/down at either side)

Dunno but VLC doesn't auto book mark like 4k Video Player (what I use currently) so if I pause a video and turn off the tablet's screen VLC will start over. >.<

VLC is my first choice, but recently it does not well, then I turn to MX Player, my new favorite.

The point is though, lloyd4, that no video player app, no app that I know of without installing a custom kernel, will make your screen any brighter I'm afraid.
