Searching for GPS

It seems every time that I turn on my Gnex screen, the Search for GPS icon is in the notification bar. The only application that I currently keep active that needs GPS is HD Weather Widget and it's set to update every 3 hours.

Anyone else notice that their Gnex is looking for GPS a lot?

Is this because of Google services?

Can I specifically check with applications are using the GPS service?

I know you can turn off gps...battery is fine. Just wondering if there was a way to actually check which apps are using the gps at that point in time.

Yup. Uncheck Google Location Services and that should solve your problem.
