Putting that aside for a moment, why is that when I click the Insert Image icon just above where I’m typing right now, I don’t get a way to pull a file off my drive, I just get a URL entry field?

anything above where it says 'Welcome, jefboyardee' will use the Phandroid search.

Yeah, it's useful when you want to search Phandroid.com, not so much for the forum.

That button only works with URLs to externally hosted images, so you'd need to have uploaded it elsewhere. imgur/imageshack/photobucket/etc are sites that will do that for free.

If you want to add an image by uploading it directly to the forum, you can do that by going to the 'Additional Options' box when you're writing your post and clicking 'Manage Attachments'. This is usually less convenient, to be honest, because the file size limits are pretty low. Plus, your image will end up at the bottom of your post; you can't arrange it part way through the text like I did with that image earlier.

Here’s what I do:

1. Click the Android Forums graphic in the upper right corner... androidforums.com
2. Click the search button you’ve shown... androidforums.com/search

That works. This doesn’t:

1. Click the Android Forums graphic in the upper right corner... androidforums.com
2. Click the search button shown by Frisco... phandroid.com/search, which leads to the never-ending scroll bar.

At least that’s what happens on my PC.

That's all I'm getting now when trying to search AF on my PC, with any kind of searching. Been like this for a few days now. Used to work OK.
