Second phone, same number, for working on the beach?

I've decided to stay on the phablet bandwagon. Unfortunately, I work a lot running beach volleyball shifts in the summer and am not risking bringing my Note out there unless someone knows of a completely sandproof case for that thing. :D
So I need another phone. I have a cheapie Nokia but don't want to be swapping sim cards every day. I don't want to go voip on my main phone (AT&T Note on TMobile) so I think my second phone needs to be on Sprint?

How can I get my regular cell number forwarded to a second phone?

Thanks!

I found these instructions for call forwarding on the Bell Canada Samsung Note support site;

Touch Applications.
2. Touch Phone.
3. Touch Menu.
4. Touch Call settings.
5. Touch Call forwarding.
6. Touch the required option (e.g. Voice call).
7. Touch the required option (e.g. Forward when unanswered).
8. Enter the phone number.
9. Touch Enable.
10. Call forwarding is now active.

They should work in the US just as well.

Thanks! I seem to have that option. But will it forward texts too? Will it mess with voicemail?

That I don't know. :dontknow: Probably not though the instructions just say Voice call. Following the same instructions on my Galaxy S2 all I see are options to forward a call to a different number, nothing about texts or voicemail.

Usually texts can't be forwarded. The best way to do it is to set up a Google Voice account, have people call and text that number and you can link it to any phones you want, configuring text delivery as desired (delivered through the app using data or as a text using a text message).

I would imagine voicemail on a forward would be tied to the final phone in the chain. Not an issue with Google Voice as your Voice account handles the voicemail duties.
