Help Secondary SMS app causing probs

Lurker
Hello Everyone,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and there is an app which has a "cloud background with blue and orange text boxes inside the cloud" and its titled

Messages.

The app on the taskbar is called Messaging and it's the one I want to use.
For some reason when I dragged it to the trash can it took it from the screen but didn't remove it. Inside the app it has All voice Messages Calls and Favorites across the top.

Has anyone heard of this app, and how I can get my default app back please.

Thanks very much.

Dragging an app to the "trash can" only removes it from a screen. Thats what it is designed to do. If you loaded the app, then you have to remove it by going to the "Play Store". I dont have my phone in front of me to see which one you are referring to. You can go into settings|applications|All, find that app and clear all of its data and any defaults for that app.
