how secure is secure? my SO and I use the couple app, and it requires a PIN to open the app... not sure how encrypted the data is though, and it's designed with hearts and cutesy stuff.

Has both an android and iOS client, although not an iPad optimized one

You can try CSipSimple on the Google Play store

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csipsimple

These. Programs on the Google Play store don't let you make normal gsm phone calls, they just let you connect to a VoIP internet calling service. You have to have a VoIP account to enter your VoIP settings in this program or any other programs similar to it.

Depending on which VoIP service you sign up to online will determine what level of encryption is available for you and what other features you can use. You can't sign up to a VoIP provider with this program you can only connect to it.

Are you looking for a free program or paid one? I doubt there are any free programs that will let you communicate with encryption for free.

If you subscribe to a paid VPN service and enter your VPN details into the Android settings then everything you do over the Internet will be encrypted, including anything you do in WhatsApp.

Best thing is to subscvcribe to a VPN service, make sure they use AES256 encryption. Then all your internet access vial VPN should be encrypted.
