Security deposit

If I sign up for tmobile new plans do I need a security deposit? I know 3 months ago on there classic and value ones I needed a 400 deposit.

for the post pay plans, they do a credit check, if your credit isnt the best they will ask for the deposit.

I think the interesting question is how much the deposit might be, particularly if you purchase the phone. My thought is the deposit may be more like $100, instead of $400, though you won't be able to get the no interest loan to buy a phone.
