Hello all.
I have a Nokia 5(android 9).
Notice some irregular functioning of:.
Made my keyboard chr invisible when I strike. When I load, on boot password it still displays chrs when I type.

Earlier phones I had : I couldnt see that.

Then when it boots from cold : I enter pass. It displays 'Android' twice. I noticed the keyboard is loaded twice at start also before asking boot pass.
This is very weird. Never had twin displays booting of any is before. I have installed servers and not seen that. If it's a stalkware it's a very stalky one :)
any experts here?

Anyone has an idea of how to circumvent? A password before android boot process?
I have tried fingerprint that closes all apps:still when boot, I see issues.

Also:I turn off all sounds: ringer, calls, media etc. Then reboot. As I reboot I still hear the boot sound loud as if call volumes are simply up again.

It looks like a trace of stalkerware as to my opinion.

Anyone can advise on how to clean boot/remove this?

There is no way of putting a password before the boot sequence.

I don't know about "stalkerware" (a term I've never seen before) but showing things twice is a little odd. Has it done this since you got it? If not when did it start, and had anything changed/been installed before then?

What happens if you use a different keyboard app? It might be that your current keyboard is simply malfunctioning.

Thanks Adron and Ocnze,
Hard reset once. First start, wasn't here. Then on second boot onwards this appears.will try to clear caching(thanks)
However it looks like a twin system operating.
I use an app for fingerprint(when booting after passworr). Yesterday I de-activated it, on purpose.
Switched off phone. Morning woke up: Entered password -pass | Ask me Simcard pin: Enter sim pin- no pass(lol. I wrote my sim pin down, so no mistake).

It looks like when I don't activate this fingerprint, something happens at night, (as I enter the boot pass:the keys I strike are visible)

On pcs : I used BIOS password. That's very hard(unless hardware break-in to change ). I wish phones had same.

Else I have tried Patten's. But they r visible too. Only the fingerprint seems to resist access. If one knows of any invisible pattern locks(please send). Actually some say invisible:but first time when u put it, it is visible...

Anyone having a better sol: let me know. It think that will give me a good insight of being a phone app tester at the end :)
And thanks tons guys,
Keep safe during this pandemy.

Are you trying to say that someone interferes with your phone while you are sleeping? Because pattern, PIN, fingerprint, all of those are ways of locking the screen and nothing to do with remote access or malware blocking. So if things happen when using a pattern or PIN but not with fingerprint that implies someone is handling the phone. Have you tried cleaning the screen so that your pattern/PIN isn't visible in the grease?

(But also someone who doesn't know how to force the phone to ask for a password/PIN instead of fingerprint, which is a strange combination of smart and dumb).
