Security Issues on Lost Driod 2 Global

I lost my Droid 2 Global with SIM card installed last night in a taxi or on the street where I got out. Taxi company no help.
I know... I am a dumb a$$!!!!

No password or Pattern Lock set.
I know... I am a dumb a$$!!!

No Lookout, Mobile Defense, Mobile Recovery installed.
I know... I am a dumb a$$!!!
(I did have Asurion though.)

After calling and texting the phone many times, no answer or call back.
I called Verizon and had them deactivate the Droid 2. (I forgot to mention the SIM card.) Asurion sending a replacement.

1) What is the WORST CASE SCENARIO for me now that the phone is deactivated??

2) Can the financial apps open?

3) Can the address book still be seen? (I have some account info there)

4) Do I need to do anything about the SIM card?

5) Is the Premium Version of Lookout the bast way to protect next time?

I've never tried it, but there is a Lookout Plan B which says it is for when you've lost your phone without having Lookout already installed. It seems like it installs to your phone over the Android Marketplace Web site. Probably too late now that the phone has been deactivated.

For your next phone, I use Mobile Recovery since I have the ins. although have read good things about Lookout. I don't think any of them are fool proof, but for the casual dishonest person who finds a cell and decides to keep it as their own, it may be sufficient to make them reconsider or to recover it. Maybe you got lucky and the device ended up in the sewer, unnoticed and now basically destroyed.

I lost my first Blackberry, a Pearl, in a similar manner as you describe. I loved that phone. Never heard from it again.

Yes.

Verizon may be able to tell you if there was any activity on the phone (calls, data use, etc.) between the time you lost it and the time you had it deactivated.
