When you say notify, do you mean make a sound or show the name? Or just show in your history all together? There are apps for erasing history but I am not sure as to the safety or how well they work. I erase all my info like that manually. If you mean alert as in a ring or vibrate, you can choose vibrate in the settings. Some app names for erasers are. History eraser(two named this, one has a space between the words) Android assistant, and maybe Juice defender. Its easier for me to do it manually but those are a start if you'd rather have an app.

Another thing to do is to change the contacts name to something else unless they know the number

hey thanks, i changed the contact name already but i like to be SUPER secretive lol
i downloaded handcent but now idk how to lock my privacy box? idk if i can lock it but i assume that i can?

Here is the link to their help and FAQ page. It explains how you use the privacy/hide specific people or #'s. Its about half way down the bage under blacklists and unblacklisting help. Hope it is what ya need.
