I'm just testing what if scenarios.

I noticed that even if I revoke Android Phone in 2-step authentication and remove my Google Account from my Android Phone (from Accounts & Sync menu), my Google Voice still works (which is attached to the account I just removed and device I just revoked).

How is gvoice still getting access if I removed the account from the phone and revoked the device? It seems removing your google account from the device should cause all google services to stop working.

Should, but not after a hard reset.

Most likely because not doing a hard reset. Even though you removed the acct., it still has stored files on your phone which, I believe, will allow access to Google voice.

I'm curious what would happen if the device was stolen with an easily guessable pattern lock, for example.

If the phone was in the state previously described ... no linked google account and device revoked in 2-step, yet google voice still works ... how could you remotely disable the thief from using gvoice? Would changing your google password do the trick?

Changing your password would work, and of course, if it is stolen reporting it stolen to your carrier will get the phone deactivated and unable to be used.
