- Is there a way to do any of the following:

A) Lock the app drawer - - Hence lock the settings app
B) Lock a "folder" on the homescreen (not an o/s folder)

I am currently rooted and going thru all the exposed modules to see if any of them would do this. I am also running APEX launcher just so I can increase the grid size of my device.

any ideas?

I don't know of a way to lock the app drawer but there are certainly play apps that will lock the settings app

Have a look at Applock by Domobile. You can lock down everything.

All the app locks simply try to lock the apps, which comes up short on what I'm trying to do, and they go thru battery power like crazy ( I believe this might be because of the number of wakelocks that it generates)

Maybe what I'm looking for is more of a launcher function.
