Help See SD Card Files in Windows

I normally can not see DroidX SD Card files from Windows Explorer, just the DevLogo and DevIcon files. Is this because the card has a Linux filesystem?

You need to change the sd card usb display type. Expand the notification bar down, and select the usb. Then select usb mass storage.

THEN open a window on your pc, and you'll see everything as usual, and be able to drag n drop, rename, ect.

I find if I leave the phone in pc mode, windows starts to act up not refreshing ANY explorer windows properly till I reboot.

The advantage of the pc mode, is you can switch, and then use an app on the phone while it is still connected to the pc via the usb cable. Otherwise your phone apps cannot access the sd card for data files.
