So several months ago i bought this phone and i decided to "ROOT" it to put the new gingerbread 2.3 OS on it, because i figured it would take forever for my service provider and samsung to offer the update. But ever since i did that the phone is just unstable sometimes, The TEXT messaging key board crashes, the Phone Randomly freezes and then comes out of it with a minor error, And to make things worse the phone no longer is able to get good Service, and it's Unlocked!!! The phone otherwise hold's a fair battery life for what it is and work's fine. Sometimes when you turn it on it boots several times before going in as well. I really do think this had something to do with the unofficial OS boot and what not, now i just wanna get it back on the Original Official Operating system so that Kies will be able to Update the device appropriately now that 2.3.5 Is available for it..
Can anybody Help me? I've tried factory reset but well, that doesn't make it 2.2 again lol. If i can't fix this i'll most certainly never root again and just wind up selling it, but i think it should be fixable it just need's a STABLE OS on it, from samsung.
OH PS: The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant (i9000)
shoulda..put that in the title bar
