Help Seems 3G Data is running all the time

I just have been noticing since friday the 3G Data icon in the notification bar is running all the time or at least 90 percent of the time .... any one else notice this?

Ive gone through and made sure my syncing wasnt on all the time ... just wondering if anyone else has noticed this...

Mine definitely isn't. Do you actually have 3G?

There could be dozens of apps sending/receiving data at any given time, I don't think it's much of an issue.
