Seesmic - background sync/notification broken?

Hi,

I got seesmic set to update every 30mins and notify me on new tweets, dm and @me.
However I get no notifications and seesmic also seems to not sync in the background at all.

Any hints/tipps if I might have missed an important setting or if it's just bugged atm?

(nexus s, stock 2.3.4 (also tested and found not working on 2.3.3 stock), go launcher ex)
 
I noticed Seesmic notifications stops working after a while too on my phone (2.2 on HTC Evo Shift). So, I downloaded the Amazon free app of the day 'Tweetcaster' which does continue to notify in the background like Seesmic used to do, and I found that Tweetcaster does the one main thing I like which is open at the last tweet I was at when it opens with the new tweets above that. As for Seesmic, it has been removed.

Thanks for your answer! Seesmic can remember your last timeline position as well though, it's in options > first option (dunno the english name, something like "display" prolly) > "remember time line position".

I'll check out Tweetcaster.

For some odd reason even Tweetdeck stopped randomly working for me. Never happened with any app except those social networking ones before.
 
Dunno if the Seesmic servers were having troubles over the last few days but in the last 4h I had no troubles with sync/notifications anymore.
 
Well I started getting notifications again for the last 2 days, and since last night it has stopped working again. Strange.
