My classrooms all have a huge touch screen tv - brand is Seewoo. I am sure that the tvs are rebranded - Seewoo is the company that makes the apps to control them. I would like to connect my google 7" tablet to the tv via hdmi. Is it possible to do this and still use the touch screen portion of the tv to interact with the tablet?
You'd need to find out their full tech details I think, like does the company actually support connecting and using Android devices with their large screen products, like apps? Does your system have user accessible HDMI inputs. I assume your tablet has HDMI.
In our classrooms we have large touch screen monitors in the blackboards. Made by a Chinese company called Donview. They're actually running Android 4.4 as an embedded OS, which is locked down and can't install apps. but are driven from a Lenovo, Windows 7 PC in the teacher's desk. The video from the computer is analogue VGA, and the touch screen part connects to the PC by USB. In use it works as a giant Windows tablet, with features for drawing and annotations, etc. from the touch screen.
Here's one of our classroom Donview monitors showing a movie. It's actually the PC playing it from a USB thumb drive.
