Accessories Seidio 1300mAh Battery

Picked up a Seidio 1300mAH battery and it arrived today - Typical day on the stock battery leaves me between 20 and 30% after a 12+ hour day, not expecting anything significant but I was curious so I will share my results for anyone thinking of getting one

So far on the Seidio 1300mAh battery after one full charge:
Up Time: 14:31:39
Awake Time: 9:47:18
Normal usage

Note: I am not sure if this effects battery life, but AT&T must have done some sort of tower upgrade/fix as I my signal is always on E while at work and today I am only showing H+

I've had the Seidio for a couple weeks now. No noticeable difference in run-time vs. the stock battery ... but I spend my work days at 1 - 2 bars, so my battery life is too inconsistent from day to day do any kind of quantitative test. I went with the Seidio because I knew it would perform at least as well as stock, have a good life span, and not set fire to my phone :) I've seen the damage that cheap LiPo can do ... I'm not taking that kind of chance to save a few bucks.

The Seidio 1300 continues to run strong no problems getting 2 days out of it based on my light to medium usage.

I have switched back over to the stock battery to do some comparisons now that my signal at work is no longer on E but on H+

yes pls give us an update cuz im about to purchase the seidio batt but it doesnt seem like a huge improvement so not sure if its even worth the money..thks

also i know the seidio is a direct replacement for oem but does it slide out with easy when taking out the batt?

The Seidio slides in and out with no resistance just like the stock battery.
My wife and I are both new to Android and the Inspire 4G. We purchased the Seidio batteries for use as travel back-ups like when flying. We have bought Seidio's in the past for 2 different Palm smartphones and they have always been a perfect fit and high quality like these. I know they're a bit pricy compared to cheapies on the web but I'm not comfortable taking even the slightest chance with my pricey new device by putting something electrical in it that even might possibly be inferior.
Just my 2 cents....Cheers

for those of you using the seidio as a secondary batt.. how r u charging both batts? r u charging one at a time in the phone or using an external charger to charge second batt..

I have a dock from Brando Workshop that has a battery charging slot in addition to the USB connector for the phone. Works great.

I charge my batteries in the phone as I do not have a desk charger/cradle like Kopsis mentioned/posted above, however I may check out the desk charger/cradle that he recommended... On a business road trip and on day 2 before putting the Inspire w/ the 1300mAh Seidio back on the wall USB charger - Last 2 days I have been on H+ the majority of the time

so two days with the seidio batt...nice..thats well worth it. thks for the update

I went to the Brando Workshop website in search of a dock like the one mentioned by Kopsis, and the Inspire is not even listed as a phone for which they have accessories.

Which cradle/dock did you purchase, please? Thanks much!

Read above posts.....

The Brando web site has this battery for Desire HD 1500mAh.

Has anybody tried this? They also have a 1800mAh battery charger. Wonder if they give longer battery life!
Thanks.

Seidio 1300mAH battery continues to last me a solid day plus before needing a charge.
This is better than the stock battery but to be honest I'm not sure it is enough to justify the Seidio price (even with a 15% discount that I used to buy it) However I would not take a chance on the knock off batteries on eBay and if needed I would buy the Seidio or another stock HTC battery.

The above is my opinion based on my usage and yours will vary depending on your usage ;)
