Accessories seidio 1750 battery, new: charge right away?

I just got my battery and was wondering if i just immediately charge it or completely drain it before i charge it?

I charged mine straight away. It did fine until I forgot to take the extra battery out of my jeans pocket and put it on an entire wash and dry cycle.... Never charged it again for fear it will burn the house down... LOL

Anyway, going back to your question, I think it's okay to charge it right away.
