Select All emails to delete

[katalex1960]

I have a galaxy s3 and it has a feature that allows me to select multiple emails by clicking on a box above all. But my husband has an S2 and doesn't have that feature. He has to select every email individually. Is there a way to select multiple emails at once to delete on the S2?

Welcome aboard, the problem with that is that the older version of the gmail app doesn't have that multi delete feature. You can check the play store to see if it needs an update if not , the android version can be the cause because if his galaxy s2 is running gingerbread (2.3xx) it won't be able to update to the icecream sandwich (4.xxx) or jelly bean (4.1xxx) version which has the multi delete feature, also the galaxy s3 is running on either icecream sandwich or jelly bean so it has that feature. Please let us know if we can help you find something in particular while you are here, Thanks for joining the team.
