Help Selective data lost!

noinee

Lurker
I own a samsung grand 2. I created a folder extSdCard/android/data/com.mp3ring and saved about 100 pictures, etc there on 2nd may '16. Today there's NOTHING in the folder. Rest of the data in my phone is present. Only this folder's contents are missing.
It was important!
PS: there's nothing in lost.dir

This was actually on an external SD card?

Are you aware, that only the app that creates a folder has permission to use that folder with 5.x and later ??

How did you create the folder, and how did you transfer the pictures to that folder?

I would hope that you had copied all of those pictures to your PC, or have a 'cloud' backup somewhere.

Yes, it was on an external sd card.
4.4.2 is the version i have on my phone.

There is an option to create a folder and save files.
No, unfortunately i do not have a backup. That is what's troubling me.
Can you please help?

It looks like you created a folder that was associated with an app that was either moved, or uninstalled, erasing all data that was in that folder. If not backed up, I'm afraid there's nothing left.
