I wonder if anyone went through that situation
I operate a Sony Erickson X10, since july 2010.
About a month ago, at the expiration of it

The first thing you should try is to repair the phone using PC Companion or Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS), to see if this is bad firmware.

If you repair the firmware and you still have the issue, then it's probably because of the hardware (the phone itself) and you'll have to get it fixed, probably requiring a new motherboard.

Not necessarily. That doesn't rule out the possibility of a software issue. There's more than just hardware and firmware involved.
