Is there a way to make a backup USB battery pack/source, in which you can exchange the battery freely.
In other words - rigging a battery so that it's power is transferred to your phone via the micro USB (HTC).
I know they sell backup battery packs with USB connection. But the battery in those units is built in..... it cannot be replaced or changed within the unit. It must be charged.
I was thinking of transfering the power, from my two spare batteries, to the phone via USB rather than taking the fiddley cover off and actually putting the spare batteries in the phone it'self.
It has to be a matter or a few dollars of adapter technology or something ???
...spare battery --- cord----USB phone input---
how can i rig this up. it would be like charging your phone from a spare battery.
Basically one of these.

but these can be charged. i don't need to be able to charge it...i already have a battery charger...I just need a positive/negative connection going to a micro usb cord into the phone....??
...something hooking into the spare battery's positive/negative and then adapting to a micro USB terminal.
(all this to save fiddling around taking the battery cover off and on....if they had have made a "quick eject" battery, it wouold be great for smart phones.)
