Selling my MT - Restored ROM from backup - am I good to go?

Hi all,

Im selling my MT. I previously rooted the phone and made a nandroid backup of my stock rom. I then ran MIUI for a few months. Now that Im selling it I have restored the backup of the stock rom and then performed a factory reset to wipe the device clean of my settings and info. The phone rebooted and all looks like the day I bought it.

Is that it? Am I correct in believing the buyer just needs to activate with VM and will be good to go?

Thanks much.

Yea, everything should be good to sell and activate, if clockworkmod recovery is still there you can ask the buyer if they want it or not

I wouldn't bother. If the buyer is experienced he/she wouldn't mind, that will save him some time putting it back anyway. If the buyer is not experienced he/she wouldn't need it, wouldn't know how to boot into it.
I sold my Intercept once in the description I stated that the phone is rooted, running custom ROM, if the buyer wants I can restore it to stock, the buyer emailed me and said that he wants my custom rom and custom kernel.

That's how I see it too. Unexperienced - they wont know or care. Experienced - it saves them some time.

Thanks guys :)

i forgot our phones are pre-paid lol i was thinking in terms of it you sold it to him/her and they brought it into a store to activate it and the person at the store looking thru it would say hmmmm lol but again i forgot there prepaid
