Hey guys can I still use the unroot method to get a completely stock rom so when I sell it the other party can run the updates to current level.. Unless one of you want it:D I went to Galaxy S5 for the water proof and dust protection and awesome camera and video also sprint pissed me off and went to Verizon costing me less per month.
Thanks

Easiest thing to do would be to update it to the latest via the RUU. In the stickies at the top the thread by Cap'n Throwback. Firmware + TWRP + Sense 5. It has an RUU which will wipe everything clean including the internal storage, so back that up prior running.

I'm out in the field at the moment, so I'm not near my PC. Let me know if you need any help or additional info. I'll do my best to log on with my PC to get you better help. :)

Thanks Granite,
I had read that and thougt the same thing. I was just worried about the new owner not being able to update but I don't think the phone is supported

The RUU is actually the one released by HTC, and it is confirmed to be the last update for this device.

Kind of a bummer because it's a good phone. :o

Granite,
How right you are I love this phone and was considering the m8.
Sprint got me and moving to verizon was cheaper, lol

I used vipeRuu program and it took 20 minutes to completely put phone back to stock. So simple I recommend that to anyone who wants to go back.

I have the Galaxy S5 now love it but it aint HTC.

THANK YOU GUYS for everything and this forum ROCKS.
