i agree 100% just found it today and love it. the developer is very responsive and cares alot about his work.

ive searched for alot of sms clients. used easysms, pdanet and desktop sms. pda net was the best of these as far as being simple and clean but u have to use usb cable to be connected. the rest took too many clicks and such for set up everytime. and plus u have to use web browser for some that are not layed out very well.

SMS2PC however is the ticket. it solves all those problems. it is super clean and simple, and works like a charm. also has full support to access your contacts from your phone.

The developer has an impressive website and other developments. I tried the trial version for about 15 minutes, contacted him to ask a question and bought the full version just minutes after he replied back.

Download and test it now. you will be wanting to purchase this asap. and dont be a cheapo and complain that it costs money, really? i woulda paid alot more for how clean this app works.

SMS2PC... soon to be one of the hottest apps i bet

I tried the DesktopSMS, looks really good but I cannot get it to connect. I followed the directions exactly and it will not connect. I know what I'm doing and have been using ADB for some time. I'm not sure what the issue is.

So I decided to try SMS2PC but the dev's website is down. I got the paid version, but since the website is down I have no way of getting the PC app. Does anyone have the PC client that they could send me? I just want to send some texts from the computer, I've bought 2 apps today to do this with and can't get either to work.

Any help is much appreciated!

I use an app called myphoneexploreer it connects via usb or wireless easy to install easy to use just download client to phone and software on computer all free no registraion send sms from pc, phone from pc syncs calender installs / uninstall apps and backup and much more

I use PDA Net to teather my phone, and it auto starts a SMS App when you're running the program, so long as your phones USB connected to your PC, all texts you get will be sent to your computer and phone

Try SpocoSMS
It is really great app. You do not need USB or WiFi connection and you can send SMS directly from your phone using WebBrowser. It is really fast and easy. And of course it is free.

There's an app for this - Droid Messenger. Only their site is down, so can't try it. Is there an alternative app? I want to be able to send texts from my computer - through the web to my phone - then out to the recipient.

Cheers

In the UK the O2 website provide free text messaging services for upt to 100 texts I think.

Also, the Orange website allows you to send up to 100 free texts a month.

Hope this helps...
