Is there a way to send a text conversation by email?

Use your email program. Back in the early 90s, before anyone had thought of texting or chat, that's how we used to hold conversations. Wend an email, wait for a response.

SMS Backup+ can back up your SMS messages to a folder in your GMail account. Then if you want to send any on as emails it would be easy to do using a browser or email client.
