Hi new friends

I would really like to rationalize the various file wireless transfer routes between devices. From the little i know, when we press on a file be it a .txt, .jpg etc, the mobile will give us the option to "share or send to". Beside Bluetooth, we can see Wi-Fi and "Fast File Transfer FFT" App which i have installed earlier. There is also the NFC & S-Beam which my mobile GT19070 don't have.

With FFT after the usual Wifi Network authentication, we still need to use a browser with the address 192.168.43.1:8080. What is the significance of this? It appears to me that FFT App send the file to this address which can be retrieved using this TCP address. Is this a cloud address or just local on my mobile.

Is is better to use the Wifi that comes with the mobile or use FFT? Does Wifi also use the same TCP address.

Does NFC & S-Beam also use this TCP address? What happens in Blue tooth? & if i would indulge - Firefox Sync??.

From the foregoing, gurus can see i am struggling to make head or tail of this avalanche of options sitting on this architecture. Much appreciate a light to lead the way. :turtle: .. I am a slow Kiwi mountain tortoise trying to do it in one go, greedy!!
