Help Sending a picture after taking it

Hi.

I am sure it has been asked before, but how to I send a photo directly from the gallery?

I know i can go into the messaging and attach it, but every other phone I have had you can go to the gallery, select the photo you want to send and select send.

Any suggestions?

Touch the screen, brings up a top menu screen. Hit the button that looks like the less than sign. "<"

Although sometimes it says unable to attach file not supported. No clue why.

Not sure if anything has to be turned on but when I tap my image the toolbar at the top displays the share symbol which in turn displays messaging at the top. You don't have this?

tap the share icon (three dot icon joined by lines) and you should get the drop down as shown on snillconators image.
 
Well I rang Samsung....
They said that on ICS they removed that function (bloody idiots)
They said that it was there in Gingerbread.
 
Well that's strange, because I have both the standard messaging app and Handcent SMS listed as options. Verizon i535 SIII

Just to confirm, you're NOT simply using your device on WIFI, are you? In other words you do have data service, too, right?

I'm wondering if someone is using WIFI only, i.e. no data, would the option for 'messaging' be there as a choice...
 
I am using normal data, not wifi.

Maybe it is just the Australian delivered S3's. Anyone in Australia have messaging in there share menu?
 
Mine is different as well. Verizon SIII. My messaging option is not in the drop down share menu but an envelope icon right next to the share icon.
