Help sending long txt messages :@

everytime I go to send an sms thats 3 pages long it will send then I get a notification saying unable to send Nd the receiver only gets half the message ! this is really winding me up it happens everytime its 3 or more pages long !

is anyone else getting this problem ?
 
Sounds like your carrier doesn't support messages that long. Does it let you send a message that is 2 pages long?

Handcent SMS -- It's just a text-messaging application that serves as a replacement for the default. It allows a lot of customization. My husband and I both use it.

Could be your carrier but the X10 doesn't like long texts, I sent one that was over 3 pages and it was sent as a picture message and took 3 days to arrive!
 
It is possible to make the phone split up messages more than 3 pages long. It then sends it as several messages.

LMAO anyhow - i'm using handcent - perfectly capable of sending 5 pages with no errors

Although in my settings i have set it NOT to convert to MMS after 3 pages, NOT to split the thread either - maybe this may help
