Sending pics to multiple recipients -- how?

I spent a while searching for the answer but had no luck...

When I take a pic that I want to share, I'll tap "Share".

There, I will access the field to enter an email address that I want to send the photo to. If I have multiple people to send it to, do I have to type in each individual address, or is there a way to access my contact list somewhere so I can simply go through and select/click recipients?

Of course, right after I post this, I found a semi-answer in the troubleshooting section. My thread can now be moved or deleted -- unless someone has an answer that doesn't require yet another app...

I use Astro. Long-press the pic and choose your send method.

You found a semi answer and chose not to share it? odd...

Sorry... but I think the "answer" was that there wasn't a way to do it with the stock phone, and best bet was to install a mail program called K9.
I read the reviews about how buggy that app was, and have learned to just live without it. (That was then. May be much better now, or maybe the app was good to start with. I've since seen many praises for it, but I lost interest.)
