I have a Google Ion unlocked with a T-Mobile SIM. While I have been able to send picture messages (MMS) on a standard (e.g. Motorola RAZR) phone using my current plan which is minutes + $5/month for SMS/MMS, I can only send SMS but not MMS on my Ion. I can however receive MMS and even video.
T-Mobile reps tell me that an Android phone requires a data plan to send MMS. Is there any way to get around this?
