Help Sending SMS Messages

I have been receiving this message a lot since the latest update. This happens on both Handcent and Stock Messenger. Incredibly frustrating when I have to press "send" not only for the initial sending of the message but then I have to approve my approval of sending that message. What is the work around? Is rooting the only thing??

clear cache, data, and defaults on all those apps. Go SMS Pro, Handcent and the stock app, and any other SMS app.

from the warning, it looks like something got ahold of them and is sending texts out using your phone. if it persists, look at what's using a lot of resources, and see if you can pin down the rogue app.

I have never seen this warning until the latest OS update...

I had this issue on my Galaxy Nexus (when i had it) on jb sourcery rom, I still couldnt find out what kept causing it.

It's not a rogue app, it is something in the system, namely the messaging system.

You can try a different messaging app, or force stop, or disable the stock messaging app, and re-enable it.

another thing try the "battery pull" turn off method.

Done this, problem persists.
