Help Sensation 4G screen question

Hey, I hope someone can help me. I replaced my touchscreen today, but after I was done and turned my device on there have been some colorful lines going vertically on my screen in certain spots and some horizontal lines as well. (not completely covering screen can still use my phone) EDIT: there is also a line going up crooked sideway.

I am assuming I damaged my LCD display in some way while changing the touchscreen? I was hoping for someone else's opinion before I order a new LCD for my phone.
