is there a forum for the HTC sensation xe beats??... i cant find one

I'm not familiar with the differences between the two devices, but from the looks of it XE users are using the regular sensation section.

The Sensation XE is the next 'generation' of Sensation phone. Although the upgrade isn't much (so like HTC), but it's not the same phones.

There might not be any point in splitting the forums though, especially given it being quite a quiet section. By the looks of it, it's really much the same phone with a bigger battery and the beats speakers. The processor is faster yes, but it's just the same processor clocked at a different speed in each phone, so (to my understanding), that wouldn't make a difference to rooting.

The only difference that might be a problem is a the way they've changed the internal structure around, but I've no idea on that one.

Those reasons you cited have always been enough to create a new phone forum. Phases have created forums for the exact phones but with different branding and radios.

Yeah. The XL is Single Core with a 4.7 Inch screen, whilst the XE is dual core and 4.3 Inches.

On a semi related note, I've just found out the Sensation XL is also the Runnymede. From what I can see, there are no differences (as there are with the all SGS2 variants). Even if there are, it seems the root method for the XL works for the Runnymede.

If I can confirm they're the same phone, is it worth merging the forums (there's only one post in the Runnymede forum atm anyway)?
