Sense Analog Clock

I'm using GO Launcher EX but missed some of the Sense widgets, so I downloaded a few comparable ones (APW), including their clock. I love the look of it, but is it my imagination or is this thing a major battery drain? Also, does having more pages in the background drain the battery more (assuming you're not constantly flipping through them and having widgets that are always updating)?

Widgets that sync frequently will drain a batter faster, so depending on what you've got going, it is very possible that you will see shorter batter life. I'm not sure what you mean by "pages in the background."

Pages in addition to the Home (start) page. For example, I have a page with a Contacts widget, one with a Twitter widget, one with a calendar, one with multimedia apps, etc. So I was wondering if just creating these pages and having them in memory will cause the display to use more battery charge than if you just had the Home page and, say, one other. Hopefully that makes sense.

Ah, home screens. each one will add a little more overhead, but they don't have any impact on battery life. It's the widgets that use data that will have the greatest drain. Of course if each home screen has a widgets that sync's you have the ability to load that many more.

Yes, sorry, home screens (I've only had this Vivid for a few days, so still learning ...). To be sure, I'm playing with it so much the battery doesn't stand a chance, but I didn't want to add to the problem by overloading. ;) Thanks.

I have Juice Defender running and configured every which way from Sunday, but I'll take a look, thanks.

The widgets I found were the APW ones (Android Pro Widgets). They're nicely done.

from what I saw this app seemed very nice looked at it a bit very popular by the looks of it too I'll have to look those widgets up some time also

The latest version of Go Launcher is reported to be a bit of a power hog by a number of users.

Plus, I hope that you mean that you got some Sense-like clock widget.

Sense widgets aren't on the Market for a number of reasons - they are designed to work with Sense only.

True to that and yeah my battery kinda drains a bit quicker and some of the apps for it seem memory intensive such as Go SMS and the keyboard there pretty nice apps and the widgets are nice but HTC widgets are the best to me...though I havent tried out any others on the market nor have I used any other android phones so I probably can't say for sure but so far I like the widgets better for sense there very polished but some are pretty big and take up room on the phone and unfortunately you can't re-size them like the galaxy s2's

@EarlyMon: No, these are from APW. Sorry for the confusion. I edited my first post (feel free to change the subject line if necessary).

That's too bad about GO Launcher. If that's the case, hope it gets corrected.
