Help Sense Keeps Crashing

I'm also experiencing this problem, but all the posts regarding things to try do no seem to have sorted it. Is there anything else I can try or will I just have to wait for the update from HTC?

It happens every so often with mine. All I do restart phone (from the options when you hold the power button down) this clears the app cache and sorts it out. I maybe have to do this once a week, no big deal....

Five days after update to 1.28. my One X restarted Sense again after using the Home button :(

I'll try try your tip Spewy, thanks.

Harry

Mine's working pretty smooth after deleting the weather widget from the home screen. Give it a try and lemme know if it works for anyone here. :)

I have done everything this forum has suggested and none work for long or at all. The only fix that works all the time is leading another launcher. I loaded apex launcher on my phone and made it my default and now no more reloading. Unfortunately no more sense either. But some of you might find this better than the crashes.

It happens yet again. My sense ui crashed yet again. I have given this my last effort and have no other choice but to return it. Looks like Samsung will get yet another waiting person in line for their phone.

I'm guessing you might have a dodgy widget or something on your homescreen. My sense only ever crashed when I added the sense agenda widget, but since the latest update mine has not crashed once. Remove one widget at a time and see what happens.

Thanks for the suggestion jason. I went ahead and deleted the only widget I use that wasn't in the android store when I downloaded it, flipboard. I hope this works so far no crashes.

had the same problem with my one x after a backup and a factory reset reinstalling apps one at a time it would appear the cause in my case was skyfire browser, now sense doesn't crash.
also flash player 11 has just been updated to include "compatibility with android 4 supported devices" could that have been part of the problem?

Well its not the flipboard and its not sense only. I even put a different launcher up on my phone and it started doing the same thing too. I have tried the whole reset factory reboot and erase and still nothing stops this from happening. It always stops for a second and happens again for no reason. I don't do anything different daily. Part of me believes its youtube but I give up. I would think this would be something that everyone sees but I guess thats not the case.

After a factory reboot, have you left it like that for a while to see if it crashes before putting your normal apps/widgets back on? All I can suggest is that it's probably an app or widget causing the problem, apart from that I would return the handset as mine has not crashed once since the last update with the Sense Agenda widget fix, although I don't use Sense any more now anyway lol.
