I just thought of something. What if you used the Sense MMS.apk in MIUI ICS so that MMS would work? This potentially would work, since MIUI ICS for the Evo 3D is based on the OTA Sense update. So I did just that. It FC'd on me, but I have a feeling it could work, it displayed the regular HTC splash.
Any ideas on how to make this work? Note- I mean strictly the ICS version, not MIUI Jellybean. MIUI ICS is Sense based, MIUI Jellybean is AOSP based.
Already tried-
-put Mms.apk from Sense in /system/app while removing the one from MIUI
-chmod 755'd it
