Sensor does not work

from some day my gt s5830i's magnetic sensor does not work properly.can i do something without go to service center? please any one help me.

Welcome to AF nripenbakshi1. Don't worry about your English mine is not much better and is my first language. :D You can try an app like androsensor which can check was going on with the sensor.
