My desire HD came with a headset from the company that shipped it. A headset designed for the phone (standard issue), with a mic.
It broke a long while ago, and I've been using other headsets since, only problem is, at random my phone seems to think that any jackstick plugged into my phone might in fact be a headset with a mic, and once it thinks that, it keeps doing weird stuff, like opening programs, stopping my music, opening menus and worst of all, calling the person I last called and hanging up instantly. It's pretty annoying. Usually unplugging and plugging back in fixes the issue temporarily, but recently, It keeps doing it until I reboot my phone.
Anyone know what this might be about?
