Help Sero Pro and Amazon Prime Video

Has anyone managed to get Amazon Prime video to work with this tablet?

Sure, it's a little tricky but here is how I did it.

1) Download and install a flash apk. (not officially supported for JB+ but it's out there)
2) Install Dolphin browser and set the following options in settings:
a) User Agent = Desktop
b) Web Content-> Flash Player = Always On

Then just use the browser to navigate and log into your Amazon Prime account.

I should note that I am using an older ROM - DoPa's P756.6.02.20.00 Android 4.2.1, but I've used this method on other devices successfully as well.

Thanks for the info.
I want to think I may have tried that without any luck. Then I read some where that Amazon made a change this Spring and that stopped it from working. I will try again and see.

Not sure which version
Android 4.2.1
Kernel 3.1.10
Build P756.6.02.20.00
That would be nice if Amazon did that. Hope so.

This is the info I saw some time ago that some one stated about Amazon Prime video on Android.
.
"Amazon Instituted the more stringent Adobe DRM months ago & added Silverlight as a streaming requirement for browsers as a measure against workarounds. It most certainly does not work on Android with Firefox. Some browsers, a very few, that utilize server side rendering will play Amazon Video, it is choppy, out of sync & generally lousy.
The cutoff Android and XBMC & a few other open source & third party solutions & they have also been killing any server side solutions as well.
This is common knowledge, posts abound XDA, Amazon forums & other community support sites.
Not even ICS devices will work because mobile Flash does not support the implemented DRM protection."

This was working on my Sero 7 Pro running the same firmware you're running. Tonight, I'll update it to KitKat and try it using the same method. I'll let you know what results I get.

Update: I was able not get it working by following the steps outlined above, albeit with some restrictions: 1) I couldn't get it to work on KitKat 2) And it didn't work with the last and latest version of the flash apk (11.1.115.81).

It only works for me on the 4.2.1 ROM, but using the 11.1.115.17 version of flash.

I did not try to see if other flash versions like x.34 would work.

I'm told that there is an app in the Play Store (FlashFox) that will take care of it without the need for hacks and mods. I have not tested it though.
I does work! Connects and plays video. Only problem is getting it to display full screen. Will see what I can do with it.
Thanks.

Update: Got screen to work. But lip sync is a problem.
Update2: Tried the Dolphin and the flash 11.1.115.17 with above settings and still get the must load Silverlight. We know that does not work on Android.
