Hi I am using Lg gt540 with android 2.1. When I turn on the phone then it shows Server is not responding on a dialogue box. What does it means and What can I do for removing this appearance.

I haven't heard anything about the server not responding before... you might want to check in the GT540 sub-forums - LG Optimus (GT540) - Android Forums

You don't happen to be a Facebook user do you? Here's a link to another AF thread where it turns-out that Facebook background syncing was the issue.
