Hey, all. Been working on this issue for days and cannot get it to work. I posted over on XDA but getting just a few hits and thought I would ask here.
I installed Viper4G 4.0.0 a few weeks ago and then started looking for an Exchange with no security apk to install. I found a few and none worked, probably because I didn't do it right.
What I have done is listed below. I will point to the links and pages so you know exactly what I got just in case it is not right.
So...from [ROM][FIRMWARE][RECOVERY][STOCK] Sense 5, Android 4.3 Final Update - 4.13.651.4 I grabbed services.jar w/signature check disabled Update for 4.13.651.4 and Mail w/Exchange Security Disabled | Flashable. With those downloaded onto the phone I did the following steps:
I am not sure what to do but that is what was suggested in the XDA thread. I searched Google to find the ADB commands to get services.jar on the phone properly and it appears to have worked.
If anyone has anything else for me to try please let me know. I made backups before removing mail, after removing mail and after installing services.jar so I can reload quickly to try again.
TIA!
