Help Set all volumes with button

Since getting the upgrade to ice cream sandwich, there are different volume settings for ringtone and notifications. When I use the button to turn down the phone volume the notification volume isn't adjusted. I can make the phone volume low but if I get a text the notification sound is still very loud.

In order to change this I have to go into settings -> sound -> volumes and make separate adjustments to each. A lot of annoying steps. I'd rather have a master volume for everything. Anyone know a way around this?

You can link the ringer and notification volumes together with Light Flow. You can actually set the notification volume to be equal to, or a percentage greater or smaller than the ringer volume. You have to set all of your stock app notifications off, and let Light Flow control notifications (as well as configure the notification volume options individually within Light Flow), but it's worth it.

I personally like having all of my notification configuration settings centralized. Much more like the blackberry, which made a lot of sense to me.

I use VolumeToggle. Comes with a widget for volume profiles and you can switch between all you profiles with the widget. Works great and free.

None of that stuff works for me because I never *remember* to turn my volumes down until my freaking text notification is blaring away. With GB, I would just start hitting the toggle bar on the side and I could immediately turn it down within a second. I want that back. We had the OPTION to separate our call and notification volume settings or to tether them....I really wish they hadn't taken that option away.

I use Audio Manager to view and change all the volumes on the phone. I also use Quick Profiles to change all the volumes (ring, notifications, alarm, etc) at the same time, in addition to toggling WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. I have three profiles: home, work, and car. The car turns on the Bluetooth and turns off WiFi, whereas home and work do the opposite of the car.
