set cpu, cpu tuner, juice defender questions...

So I rooted last night and installed das bamf 1.7 remix Rom overclocking to 1.4ghz and now I need to set up some battery saving. I have my sync, location, Bluetooth, gps off, at home I use WiFi and have mobile data off. At work I leave WiFi and mobile data off and I manually update my apps and stuff.

Was wondering if you use set CPU or CPU tuned and how you have it set up. Also if you use juice defender or something similar and how you have that set up too. Any input would be much appreciated thanks.
 
One thing is not to have oc to 1.4 if you want to save battery life lol. I have used setcpu on my Droid and works ok. As far as juice defender remember its an app that runs constantly and will draw power from the battery. I have used it and saw no difference with it or without it . It says I was 2.0x better battery but it seemed to last as long as with it off.

The setcpu will benefit you more as you can set under clock speeds when idle then to whatever speed you want when the phone is awake.

Come on you really need 1.4 LOL.
 
Lol, no I set it to 1.4 to see what the benchmark scores were, I'm putting it back to 1ghz since at stock speed the kernel is supposed to under volt and that should save battery life as well. 1.4 will not be my normal speed I promise you that, I just wanted to see what it could do at that clock speed
 
So what was your score? As I am stock on my bolt. I figured you woukdnt leave it on that 1.4 setting. Just a little humor.
