I am trying to setup a custom message alert for text messages I get from an email account that is sending to my 1231231234@vtext.com address. I added the address to my contacts and set both the message alert and ringtone to use an mp3. I have the sender address listed in the email address and the mobile phone fields. This works just fine if the sms comes from another phone but I can't get it to work if the sms comes from an email address via vtext.com.
Using Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 (SCH-I454), non-rooted, Android 4.4.2
Appreciate any advice. Thanks.
