Help Set my pixel density too high, can't get in phone

zainhill

Lurker
My device is a Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F.

I was messing around with my build.prop and changed my pixel density and accidentally set it way too high. This meant that I could not unlock my phone.

To remedy this, I tried to reflash (didn't work) and then did a factory reset.

Now, my problem is that I can't click 'Next' on the EULA that appears during the setup wizard because it's greyed out.

What can I do?

Hey zainhill, welcome our AndroidForums :).

Couple of questions for you:

1. I'm assuming you're rooted, correct?
2. Do you have USB debugging enabled?
3. Do you have a custom recovery installed?
4. Are you familiar with using adb?

I'm asking the above because if you have USB debugging enabled on a rooted device, you should be able to go back and fix your build.prop file using an adb shell.
