How To Set SMS and Notification sounds independently?

Can it be done?

I love the phone but the lack of profiles (like EVERY phone I've EVER owned) is a bit annoying.

I use "quick profiles" to get around that but I don't like the it makes the same noise for when I get an SMS, email, facebook update etc.

Is there any way to change this? I tried "missed calls" which would have worked but it can't work while using a profile manager like (quick profiles).

Any ideas?

Appologize guys I just discovered how to do this.

In each app you can set the tone you want ie. go to you messages open the menu --> settings then set the tone. Same for emails and alarms etc.

Now do you have any pointers in getting a Spanish Milestone rooted?

It came with 2.1 out of the box and every time I try to revert it back to 2.01 with RSDlite to then root it it gives me an error along the lines of:

"phone is not compatible with multi-interface super-file" and then fails.

No idea. I haven't got a Milestone to play with....
