SetCPU and other rooted apps/questions

I'm just wondering what rooted apps work for the Lucid.I know Titatinum Backup doesn't work.Does SetCPU work?Also can I theme my Lucid without CDW?Or should I not risk it.

Not entirely sure what you mean by Ti doesn't work, but I am currently running the following apps that require root access:
BetterBatteryStats
Keyboard Manager and Launcher
ROM Toolbox
Root Explorer
SD Maid
Titanium Backup
Total Commander

SetCPU doesn't work without the bootloader exploit found here. I have been able to theme the phone with Apex Launcher, but it doesn't change everything like a custom ROM would.

solidsnake13, are you running GB or ICS? I was under the impression that the bootloader exploit would not work with ICS.

I am running ICS and the bootloader tool I linked to is for ICS. I cannot verify that is does work however, I have not installed CWM, but the known boot loop issue has a fix on the page.

everything that link says it is from at least September....so i would say GB

Yeah, it would appear to be GB, I will keep a look out for something in ICS.

Just wish Verizon wasn't so controlling about their devices.
