Root setcpu for root settings.

what is a good way to setup this APp? I was messing with it and my phone froze.. If someone could list their settings.. max/min on demand or whatever.. Not trying to fry this baby till after I get my rebate back

I set mines to 1024 max and 245 min
profiles CHARGING 768 MAX 245 MIN 90% PRIORITY
PROFILE SCREEN OFF 368 MAX 245MIN
100 % PRIORITY
and I'm running good
 
Seems like my battery is going dead quicker than ever. Are we supposed to wipe the battery ccache in recovery. My phone is Draining even with nothing running an d in airplane mode

no dont wipe battery status if u install a custom rom thu only thing u do is a battery caliber thats it also try 2 x battery to save battery
 
Try downloading cpu spy from the market to see what your cpu is really doing so you can make an educated decision. Stock the cpu already spends most of the time @ 245 or in deep sleep. 122 is not used by the stock kernel but is available if you use setcpu.

I disabled set cpu for now. No need or real benefit without an overclocking kernel. Battery life has been stellar on zvd.

Also there is a thread somewhere on cpu governors. I found it helpful to understand what each governor does. I tend to favor ondemand, interactive, or smoothass for a combination of battery life & performance when needed. The last 2 aren't available on the stock kernel.
